Jax arrived on June 19,2009 at 11:32 am. I was induced at 6:30. The delivery went amazing (Thank heavens for an epideral)!!!! He was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long. He is such a good baby! We are all doing well!

It has been a long time since I have updated my blog. I will be 40 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I have an induction scheduled for tomorrow. I am so excited to be finished with this whole pregnant thing. I have been dilated to 3.5 and 90 percent effaced for 5 weeks. I guess I had my hopes up that I would deliver early. I will post pics of the baby when he arrives tomorrow.

These are my cute friends from hygiene school. They drove as far as Ogden to come to my shower. Thanks guys! It was fun to see you!

I guess I better make an official announcement! I am expecting a baby boy June 19, 2009. Currently I am 17 weeks pregnant and doing great! Everyone knows that I cant stand a surprise...so snuck to Fetal Foto a week early (at 14 weeks) to find out what I was having. I had my hopes up for a girl...but found out that it is a boy! I am still really excited. These are some ultra sound pics of that appointment!

Costume Party

This year I bought Jake and I a Willy Wonka and a Candy Factory worker costume. My mom and dad got invited to a Halloween party, but my dad couldn't go because he just had back surgery. I told my mom I would go with her so she could go. Needless to say my mom went as Willy Wonka. Sorry I don't know how to flip the pic!

Trae's Track and Field Day

On Friday I went to Trae's track and field day. It was such a cold day for the kids. He participated in a long distance run, basketball toss, tug of war (his class was the champions), and a frisbee throw. I was proud of him for doing such a great job.

May 9th Draydens 2nd Birthday

Today was Draydens 2nd Birthday. He is still a little too young to understand what a birthday is. We went to Chuck E. Cheese to have dinner and let the kids play. He had so much fun. I can't believe how much he has changed in just the last year. He is talking so well. I just about die laughing at some of the things that he says.

Today is Trae's birthday! I can't believe that he is 7 years old. He is such a cute kid. Every year for his birthday he wants to eat a Tepanyaki. He loves to watch his food being cooked. His favorite is when the cook throws shrimp in the air for him to catch in his mouth.
Trae is a spoiled granchild. He got a new Yamaha 50 motorcyle from my parents. His mom and dad bought him a new helmet, gloves, shirt and pants to ride his dirt bike. I bought him a remote control bull dozer. He had a great birthday!

Erins Last Night As A Single Woman

Erin is about to get married in Jamaica and we wanted to celebrate her last night out. We went to Park City to a Sushi house and then went dancing. We all stayed the night at a condo. It was a lot of fun. I have never been to Park City to hang out. Congratulations Erin and I wish you many years of happiness!!

Girls Weekend To Mesquite

My friend Ashlee called me on Tuesday and wanted to take a last minute trip to Mesquite. I was dying to get some sun. It has been such a long winter. So Alisa, Ashlee and I headed south to soak up some sun. It was such a fun get away. All that we did for three days was: eat, sleep, and lay by the pool. I got a really bad sun burn and I was proud of it. I couldn't wait to come back to the cold weather and show it off. It was something to brag about.

My aunt sent me this email and I thought all of those who work in the dental field might find it funny even though it is a little dirty............
A man goes to an oral surgeon to have a tooth pulled. The dentist pulls out a freezing needle to give the man a shot. "No way!! No needles!! I hate needles," the patient said. The dentist starts to hook up the laughing gas and the man objects. "I can't do the gas thing. The thought of having the gas mask on is suffocating me!!" The dentist then asks the patient if he has any objection to taking a pill. "No objection", says the patient, "I'm fine with pills". The dentist then returns and says, "here's a Viagra tablet". The patient says, "Wow! I didn't know Viagra worked as a pain killer!" "It doesn't", said the dentist, "but it will give you something to hold on to when I pull your tooth!!!

MOOSE ON THE LOOSE

This is a picture of the town of Wallsburgs pet moose! It's mother was hit on the highway and now it is trying to survive on its own. This is a picture taken in my grandpa's backyard. It is eating the limbs off of an apple tree. The moose just roams from yard to yard trying to find things to eat. We have got so much snow that the deer and elk are having a hard time finding food. It makes me feel really bad for them. Most of the people that live here throw them hay to eat at night when they feed their livestock! It has been fun watching this cute baby! It is definatly the talk of the town!

I think that this has been one of the worst weeks that I have suffered at work and I am not sure why! I have had a lot of cancellations and that is very frustrating. I have been coming home kind of negative so I thought I better get positive so I am going to list my top 10things that I love about my job:

1. Beautiful office (My room has the best view! It looks over a driving range at a golf course)
2. Latest and greatest technology (Cerec, diagnodent, etc..)
3. My doctor just bought me all new Everedge instruments and new ultra sonic tips
4. Great pay
5. The BEST dental care EVER
6. I give all of the injections
7. My doctor doesn't just fix teeth he is very concerned about periodontal disease
8. The thought that "Hygiene is the backbone of the dental practice!"
9. Great location
10. Great patients

Shopping Spree.....for LILI

After work yesterday I decided that I needed to get my new baby some outfits. I went shopping!! I bought her all kinds of bows, sweaters, some dresses, toys and a collar. I had my shopping cart full of things for my dog, not to mention a few things for my cat.

Just as I was checking out I ran into a girl that I went to high school with. She was wanting to know all about me: who I married, where I lived and worked, how many kids etc. She is two years younger than me and she has got two kids and one on the way! Holy Crap!

She looked at my newest purchases and said, "It looks like it is time that you start having kids." How rude! Just because I have spoiled animals doesn't mean I need to have kids! Then the kicker was when she said," You are getting old, what are you 25." I told her I would be 26 next month! Anyway....Here is a picture of Lili in her cute dress!

New Years Resolutions

Last year my New Years resolutions was to loose my hygiene school blubber. I am happy to announce I have done just that! I have heard about a great diet place called Absolute. I called them and explained that I needed to loose around 10 pounds. I went and met with a dietician and had a body fat analysis. Little to my suprise I needed to loose 14. I have been on the diet since the middle of October and this week I hit my goal weight. I have lost 15 pounds and 2 pant sizes, FINALLY! If anyone has a New Years resolution to loose weight I now just the place that can help! It is a very healthy diet and it is easy to eat on it!

New Addition to the Family...No I'm not Pregnant!

After months and months of begging, I finally got my way. This is a picture of my new baby girl. Her name is Lili. She is a 14 week old Yorkie. Currently, she weighs about 2.5 lbs. The vet estimates she will not get bigger than 4lbs. I was very nervous to get a dog in the house because of the potty training issue. She is doing amazing! She and Darwin (my hairless cat) are really enjoying each other! They wrestle and play all day. I am hoping that Lili will give Darwin some exersize. She is over weight! Everytime I take her to the vet he says, "You really should think about putting her on a diet." She weighs about 13 lbs. She has got about six fat rolls and no hair to hide them! Jake was not very happy about a dog in the house, but he has changed his mind and he thinks she is really cute!

5 Year Anniversary

Holy Cow! I can't believe that I have been married for almost five years. This is a picture of Jake and I on our wedding day. Our anniversary is December 7, 2002. I am not sure what Jake has planned. I have left it up to him this year.

This is actually the first anniversary that we have got to spend together. I have always had college finals during this time. What the heck was I thinking when we set our wedding date. It will be great to spend some time together. He is taking a half day off of work on Friday. For those of you that know my work-a-holic husband this is HUGE! TO BE CONTINUED:
